Biography

Julianne Kingery, Economic Development Specialist, Economic Development Administration (EDA). In her current position as an Economic Development Specialist for the Denver Regional Office of EDA, Julianne manages a wide variety of non-construction and equipment related grants. A majority of the grants in her portfolio are projects responding to disaster recovery, including both natural disasters and COVID-19, and all projects directly support economic development, recovery and resiliency. Previously, Julianne served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in southern Ethiopia where she spent two years teaching high school English and a third year working on education and training and curriculum development.Julianne has a dual degree from Eckerd College (St. Petersburg, FL) in International Relations/Global Affairs and French with concentrations in history, film, and economics.
