The state of Illinois is developing a smart logistics and clean energy ecosystem to support its renowned TDL industry of which the Panama Canal is a key component. Illinois, and the greater Chicagoland economic region, seek to host ACE Chicago to highlight this and other key industries that impact the supply chain and manufacturing. Some ACE Chicago participants who already visited Panama have identified opportunities for additional engagement with Panama across more sectors and for more partnerships with LATAM countries.
