Dr. CÉLIO COSTA VAZ, CEO, Orbital Engenharia S.A. Mechanical Engineer, M.Sc. Applied Systems Analysis, and Dr. in Science in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering. 

Founder of Orbital Engenharia (2001), he has been actuating as System Engineering Coordinator of important technological innovation developments in Brazil, in multidisciplinary projects related to: 

– Small Satellites; 

– Liquid Rocket Propulsion; 

– Suborbital Platform for Scientific and Technological Experiments in Microgravity Environment; 

– Carbon Nanotubes Antennas; and, Hypersonic Aeronautical Engine (SCRAMJET). 

His background was as satellite engineer at the Brazilian National Space Research Institute – INPE, where he acquired more than 15 years of experience and have participated in all Low Earth Orbit Brazilian Satellites projects developed and launched to date.
