Minister of State in Foreign Trade and Business with responsibility for country’s trade policy and development of business in the country. This covers our Commercial Diplomacy in other countries and negotiation of trade agreements. Our Ministry also works on promotion of growth and capacity building of businesses to stimulate economic growth. My professional.background is in Business Development and Human Resource development and Intl Trade Policy.
Reasons to join the program
Barbados wants to broaden engagement of its enterprises into the global framework. It has some key investment opportunities it would want to pursue. We are also interested in exposure to global trends and to establish opportunities for benchmarking. Climate change presents an existential threat to us and we are interested in developments which can assist our country to mitigate the impact and help is to build resilience.
