Pelayo Covarrubias is a Business Engineer and MBA with extensive experience as a consultant to numerous companies and public organizations, in matters related to education, telecommunications, digital economy, concessions, transport and other sectors of the economy. He has led various projects at the University of Desarrollo, the city hall of Santiago, and many private companies. Pelayo is currently President of the Fundación País Digital and Director at University of Desarrollo, vice chairman of Hubtec and La Protectora Foundation and member of the board of many private and public companies. He also is founder and shareholder of Globe companies and he was the anchorman of CNN program of Science, Technology and Innovation Fundación País Digital is an institution that works for the development and massification of technology in Chile in the areas of education, smart cities and digital development and University of Desarrollo is known not only for its academic excellence, but also for its entrepreneurial hallmark.
