Diego Meneses, Commercial Counselor – Consulate General of Guatemala in Los Angeles, California Currently his main duties entail the promotion of the exportable offer of Guatemalan products to the United States, connecting west coast companies with Guatemalan companies, attraction of foreign direct investment to Guatemala, bringing business opportunities to the attention of Guatemalan businessman and fostering tourism to Guatemala. Before this diplomatic post, he worked as an investment promotion advisor at the Ministry of Economy of Guatemala. He has also worked with international organizations such as the Organization of American States and the Inter-American Development Bank in the elaboration of socio-economic projects in vulnerable areas of Latin America.
