Biography

Diane Gray was appointed President of Prairies Economic Development Canada on October 31, 2022. Ms. Gray is a recognized leader with extensive experience in economic development and trade. Prior to her appointment, she was the founding President and CEO of CentrePort Canada Inc., the largest trimodal inland port in North America. From 1995 until 2009, Ms. Gray held three positions for the Province of Manitoba, serving as Deputy Minister of Finance, Deputy Minister of Federal Provincial and International Relations, and Deputy Minister of Trade. She holds a Master Degree in Public Administration and a BA in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba. She has chaired the Boards of the Manitoba Technology Accelerator, World Trade Centre Winnipeg, Manitoba Film and Music, and Mitacs Canada.
