Joshua Herwig, Founder and CTO of Oasis CDR, leads the development of a next-generation open-ocean observation platform designed to enable gigaton-scale carbon dioxide removal and catalyze the growth of the blue economy. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Joshua’s career spans systems engineering, robotics, and biophysics research. Prior to founding Oasis, he led the development and regulatory approval of an electromechanical medical device that improved the lives of thousands of breast cancer patients.
