Richard (Rick) Hunsaker, Executive Director of Region XII COG, is the CEO of this consortium of local governments, a recognized Economic Development District (EDD) through the Economic Development Administration. The organization operates $22 million in loan funds, primarily used for job creation in small and emerging businesses. The COG also works in planning, business recruitment and retention, workforce development, infrastructure, and public transit. Rick holds a BA and MPA from Drake University and serves as First Vice President for the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO).
