David Griggs, CEcD, CCE, EDFP, President and CEO of the MetroHartford Alliance, works with regional private-sector leaders to drive economic development through planning, research, data, marketing, and project management. He has launched successful initiatives such as Hart Lift and the UK InsurTech Corridor, revitalizing Hartford’s Pratt Street and connecting the city with innovative insurance start-ups from the UK. David holds a Bachelor’s in Urban Planning from SUNY Buffalo State and a Master’s in Planning from the University at Buffalo. He is a Certified Economic Development Professional (CEcD), Certified Chamber Executive (CCE), and Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP).
