Karin Sempf is the Founder and CEO of Innova Nation, an educational lab based in Panama dedicated to accelerating youth talent and creativity through programs at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability. Under her leadership, Innova Nation has impacted more than 18,000 students across 450 schools and developed alliances with over 100 organizations globally, including the World Economic Forum, Dell, Arizona State University, and the Conrad Foundation. Her work focuses on equipping young people with future-ready skills, fostering innovative thinking, and designing educational ecosystems that drive inclusive economic development and social impact in Latin America. She is also the Co-Founder of Ella Invierte, an initiative that empowers women through financial education, investment, and entrepreneurship. Karin has extensive experience in leadership development, education innovation, and public-private partnerships promoting youth employability and sustainability. She has represented Panama in global initiatives such as the We Empower UN SDG Challenge, COP28, and the UNDP-CAF Dialogue for Sustainable Development. Karin has completed postgraduate studies in business, innovation, and leadership and is an active member of organizations including the Cambridge Business Association, Vital Voices, ADP, and others. She has received multiple international recognitions, including being featured in Forbes as one of “5 Female Founders Leading the Charge for a Sustainable Future.”
