IMPAQTO is the first B Corp in Ecuador. Our purpose is to work as an ecosystem builder, building local ecosystems that promote and welcome agents of change in Latin America so they can turn their ideas into impact through market-driven innovation.[expand title=”Read more…”] IMPAQTO has committed to building local support ecosystems so that agents of change prosper in the construction of financially sustainable and socially and environmentally impactful enterprises. IMPAQTO achieves this objective through its business units:(a) IMPAQTO Coworking: provision of safe and inspiring collaborative working spaces; (b) IMPAQTO Labs: incubation and acceleration programs for impact startups with the support of Google for Startups; (c) IMPAQTO Consulting: consulting services for bold organizations that seek to realize innovative initiatives with transformational impacts; and (d) IMPAQTO Capital: an impact investment fund that uses flexible capital to boost the growth of early-stage impact startups in the Andean Region. To date, IMPAQTO manages four working spaces that support 850 entrepreneurs and agents of change per month; it has a portfolio of 300 enterprises that are alumni of its triple impact startup accelerator, and it has reached over 53,000 people by hosting hundreds of events to coordinate actors. With IDB Lab we are developing the project Resilience Lab: SMEs and Entrepreneurs building a better normal, with the objective to boost the productivity and impact of the SMEs that will reactivate a new economy by transforming its management and incorporating sustainability into their business strategy. We are looking for partnerships for all the work we are doing in Ecuador and the region. We will love to host a session during the ACE Ecuador program at IMPAQTO La Floresta, an amazing coworking space in Quito that used to be a cultural fabric.
