As a young economist oriented towards social and regional development, the position of Strategic Advisor for Green Investments in the prestigious Public Investment Agency Investminas of the Secretariat of Economic Development of the Government of Minas Gerais is the biggest opportunity of his professional career in the last 4 months. However, facing the challenge of developing a new area in the government oriented towards the green economy and supporting the transition to NetZero will not be easy.   Besides developing multidisciplinary projects involving the energy transition, decarbonisation and waste management, Mr. Senra will have an important role in addressing the needs of the private sector in  state initiatives, with the aim to fulfill the goals of  the Paris agreement to which the Government of Minas Gerais is a signatory.[expand title=”Read more…”] Therefore, the Americas Competitiveness Exchange will help Mr. Senra  absorb important lessons from other authorities with a higher level of seniority and with different experiences.
