Aggregated together, my previous answers represent my lifelong desire to cultivate assets and capitalize on opportunities. I have enjoyed a multi- and interdisciplinary career as a lawyer, social justice advocate, education and economic inclusion and competitiveness pioneer and policy developer and influencer, effectively managing and leading an array of different organizations for more than 25 years. ACE Ecuador program participants are responsible for creating conditions for local success. This generally involves providing clarity of purpose, vision, strategy, values and roles; developing a work economic development environment where processes and systems are aligned for inclusion and competitiveness. Throughout my diverse career, I’ve taken on the role of executive leader, innovator and architect, providing underlying energy and imagination to create the contextual conditions within which others may also make exceptional contributions to improve local, state, and national competitiveness.
