I believe that my background in government which spans about 13 years, along with my background in the private sector involved in information technology and transportation both give me a solid foundation to be able to assistant participate in development discussions throughout the region. My time as a senior executive in government also expose me to some of the major trade and investment issues that impact region. It has also given me a deep understanding of the potential for trade between South America Central America and the Caribbean, a position where Belize plays a pivotal role as members of both the sub regions. My new role as representative of Ecuador in Belize also opens up opportunities for South America to central America trade and investment opportunities. I have attended a few Ace events in the past and I found them to be very uplifting and also very useful in the exchange of information amount people within our region. I look forward to adding to the diversity of the group. And to be able to bring my expertise and my knowledge to some of the new participants as well.
