Panama Canal – Miraflores Locks

The Miraflores Locks control all incoming and outgoing traffic on the Pacific side of the canal. Proximate to Panama City, the government established this impressive center for observing the engineering marvel. The visitor center features three observation decks providing a front-row view of canal traffic, the Panama Canal Museum, and four exhibition rooms detailing the history of the Panama Canal, its current operations, and the expansion project.
