The DR is developing a Logistic Strategy, being Panama one of the top leaders in the region is an opportunity to learn bests practices and strengthen relationships between countries.
As a representative of Big C S.A., I am excited to present a wealth of investment opportunities in Paraguay at this esteemed event. My focus is on Shopping Paris in Ciudad del Este, a city renowned not only as a commercial hub, with over 125,000 TEUs handled annually (2018), but also as a burgeoning tourist destination near the Iguazu Falls.
A key aspect of our proposal is the innovative integration of a hotel within the Shopping Paris complex, uniquely merging retail, hospitality, and tourism in one vibrant location. We are also at the forefront of establishing the country’s first solar energy plant within this project, a testament to our commitment to sustainable and innovative development, offering substantial returns whilst advancing environmental objectives.
In parallel with my work in Paraguay, I am deeply passionate about sustainable energy, being actively involved with Ecopower Eficiencia Energetica in Brazil and Paraguay. This involvement reflects my dedication to renewable energy initiatives, underscoring the increasing global focus on sustainable practices. My personal mission is to champion the adoption of clean energy solutions across both countries, ensuring our development is environmentally conscious and forward-thinking.
Ecopower, a pioneer in Brazil’s solar energy sector since 2013, has notably marked its presence with over 38,000 approved projects and an impressive installation capacity of 400 megawatts. Their operational efficiency is underscored by their robust network of technical personnel and specialized installation vehicles, achieving the remarkable feat of installing two solar panels every minute – approximately 1,000 panels daily.
