The Inter-American Competitiveness Network (RIAC) is a regional initiative led by the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development of the Organization of American States (OAS) that connects high-level authorities, top decision-makers, and key stakeholders from the public, private, and academic sectors from the Americas and beyond to promote policy dialogue and collaboration opportunities on competitiveness, innovation and technology, and economic development.

Top leaders participating in the Network engage in hands-on demonstrations, meaningful exchanges of information, and exchange of good practices and tools. By sharing models that work, stakeholders can inspire others to boost their ideas and projects; develop new knowledge, concepts, and skills; and develop long-term partnerships.

The OAS, as RIAC’s Technical Secretariat, provides multiple spaces for in-person and virtual interactions available for country leaders and key stakeholders, including:

  • The Americas Competitiveness Forum (ACF);
  • The RIAC Plenary Meeting of Minister and High-level Authorities and Competitiveness Councils;
  • The Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) Program: the Premier Economic Development, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Network of the Americas;
  • The Group of Experts of Subnational; and
  • The HUB of Technology Transfer and Commercialization for the Americas
