Andre Keenan Fowlkes

Andre Fowlkes is President of Start Co., where he leads innovation-driven economic development by spearheading capital and policy formation as well as ecosystem-building strategies. He previously spent 12 years in capital markets at Fisher Investments. As a strategist and connector, he supports governments, economic agencies, and nonprofits. He also chairs Orion Financial, serves on the advisory board of Heartland Forward, and is Innovation Liaison for Memphis’ Economic Development Growth Engine. His economic development work includes initiatives on Black entrepreneurship, social enterprise, and smart cities.
