Luis A. Nieves is the Director of Facilities and Program Management at the Puerto Rico Science & Technology Trust. He oversees the management and expansion of Science City, which currently spans 68 acres and includes three main buildings. Among his accomplishments is the construction of the Forward Center, a 30,000 sq. ft. building supporting technology development and entrepreneurship. His role includes planning future labs, residential units, and workforce development facilities, with a focus on AI and biosciences. Previously, he worked at HPE for 28 years in engineering, business development, and supply chain management. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from UPR-Mayagüez.
