Business Development Manager, Deloitte S-LATAM I currently lead Deloitte S-LATAM (Spanish Latin America) relations with Multilateral Organizations in the region. As such, I assist all Deloitte teams throughout Latin America in the projects and services we provided to various entities such as the World Bank, IDB, GIZ, CABEI, CAF, and UN agencies, among others. Our consulting services cover multiple topics, including infrastructure, transportation, mobility, and energy, to social issues such as health, education, and digital transformation. Previously, I worked both at the IDB and World Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C., and served as a Costa Rican diplomat at both our Embassy in the U.S. and to the UN Mission in New York. I hold an M.A. in International Affairs from American University, a Graduate Certificate in Multilateral Affairs from IHEID in Geneva Switzerland, and a B.A. in Political Science and German Studies from Elon University (North Carolina) and Heidelberg University (Germany).

I am interested in the ACE Michigan Program for several reasons. Having worked at the OAS in D.C., I was familiar with the program and previously applied to the most recent one in Panama but was not selected. I believe these types of exchange programs are highly benefitial for business development and networking, believe It can be both very benefitial for my own personal development as well as for new busines opportunities for my company, but I can also bring unique experiences to other participants. Finally, as my focus is in Latin America, I find that a new perspective in a place like Michigan will be something new and eye-opening, which I can bring back to my country and region.
