Oscar de Oliveira Madeira, Director Ithaka Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Catholic University of Uruguay Leads the Ithaka Center team, responsible of promoting the entrepreneurial and innovative culture in the community, including education (courses, workshops and mentorship), startups incubation and link with the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Served as General Manager and Business Development Manager at CCC Medical Devices / Integer Holdings Corporation (NYSE: ITGR), where he lead a team of ~350 associates designing and manufacturing implantable medical devices. Worked in technical and management positions at Schlumberger, being responsible for customer relations and operations of various public telecom and smartcard projects in Uruguay, Argentina and Ecuador. Served as Assistant Professor at University of the Republic of Uruguay, and participated in teaching and research activities in Microelectronics. Received the Electrical Engineer degree from the University of the Republic of Uruguay, and a Master in Business Administration from ORT University Uruguay.
