Ms. Asantie Murrell is a multifaceted young professional with impactful work in social entrepreneurship and private sector engagement under her belt. Driven by a desire to tackle pressing global issues, Asantie pursued a Master of Arts in International Affairs, with a minor in Impact Entrepreneurship. Throughout her career, she has gained a comprehensive understanding of the multidimensional challenges facing our planet and the ways in which sustainable practices can help shape a more resilient future.

Exposure to Cutting-Edge Innovation: Being exposed to cutting-edge innovation is crucial in navigating current projects and leveraging learnings from ACE to strengthen them, but also the development of new projects with new potential partners based on existing expertise and comparative advantage. Particularly, to be exposed to agribusiness and life sciences innovation could provide valuable leverage for Barbados’ ongoing and future endeavours in these sectors. Knowledge Sharing and Learning: The ACE program offers an excellent opportunity to share the experiences that are currently unfolding in key sectors in Barbados within the scope of the organisation and learn best practices from other professionals from Michigan and other countries.
