Chief Economist at Mexico ¿Cómo Vamos? In my role my primary responsibility extends beyond monitoring the intricacies of the Mexican economy. It encompasses the crucial task of distilling complex economic data into concise briefs, publications, and social media content that are accessible and understandable to those outside the economic field. Moreover, our organization possesses a unique advantage in analyzing the Mexican labor market through a gender lens, reinforcing our commitment to making economic information widely available. Our goal is to empower every citizen seeking knowledge on economic matters, thereby promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics with honors and am currently concluding my Master’s degree in Government and Public Transformation. My dissertation focuses on advocating for a unified ESG framework as a vital for addressing the intertwined challenges of sustainability and equity.
I am grateful for the ACE Michigan program committee’s consideration of my application. Currently, Mexico Como Vamos, in collaboration with the US MEXICO FOUNDATION, is actively promoting the North American Project. This initiative underscores the critical importance of North American integration and sets forth five pivotal goals aimed at establishing this region as the world’s foremost in competitiveness and prosperity. Within this framework, gaining a deeper understanding of the commercial dynamics and challenges facing our regional value chains is imperative for me. Participating in this program offers a unique opportunity to connect with potential partners and share insights, fostering sustainable and inclusive growth across North America.
