As an experienced Deputy Secretary for Economic Development with a commitment to fostering innovation and sustainable growth, my interest in joining the ACE Michigan program is multifaceted: Firstly, I am actively seeking reciprocal soft-landing opportunities that will enable businesses from my region to seamlessly integrate into Michigan’s market and likewise assist Michigan-based companies in establishing a foothold in my local economy. Secondly, learning about Michigan’s economic development, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem is an opportunity to glean insights from a region that has undergone significant economic transformation. Lastly, I am keen on forging academic partnerships for R&D, student, and research exchanges. As someone deeply entrenched in shaping economic policies, I recognize the power of knowledge-sharing and the pivotal role of research in fostering innovation.
