To date, SweetBio has raised $7M USD, is revenue generating, and has been highlighted by Apple, on 60 Minutes, in USA Today, and in Forbes. Dr. Rodriguez is responsible for evidence/publication strategy, science communications to investors and the field, new product development, intellectual property strategy, and supporting strategic, marketing, operations, and fundraising activities. Some of Dr. Rodriguez’s notable achievements include serving as the keynote speaker for NASA Langley’s 2017 Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration and receiving the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) STAR Entrepreneur Award in 2023.
SweetBio is at an exciting time where we are expanding sales into different regions. We would love to explore more about the Michigan health system as well as other countries’ issues with wounds, particularly how our advanced (yet affordable) products can help patients heal from surgically created, traumatic, or non-healing wounds. We heard about this program being hosted in Panama, and felt that the partnerships made would be incredibly valuable and mutually beneficial. Being Puerto Rican, I’ve seen first hand the struggles my family has had getting the top care for standard wounds. We would be honored to be chosen as we believe everyone deserves access to advanced products, no matter their economic status.
