I am eager to join the ACE Michigan program to deepen my understanding of Michigan’s economic development, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem. This knowledge is pivotal for me to identify and validate potential business and investment opportunities between Colombia and Michigan. As an investment director for the Colombian Government Trade Bureau, I have actively explored various states such as Texas, Florida, California, Illinois, and New York. However, Michigan presents a unique opportunity for the Colombian government trade bureau to diversify and explore new ecosystems. By participating in ACE Michigan, I aim to leverage my experience from the ACE Louisiana cohort in 2022, which yielded significant results and opportunities between Colombia and Louisiana. I believe that by immersing myself in the ACE Michigan program, I will not only gain valuable insights into the state’s economic landscape but also establish meaningful connections with local entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers. These connections will be instrumental in fostering collaboration and facilitating mutually beneficial partnerships between Colombia and Michigan, specially in sectors such as agribusiness and entrepeneurship. Thank you for considering my application.
